About The Stone Mountain Village Market
The Stone Mountain Village Market was developed with assistance from the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, LLC to enliven this historic district and bring visitors together with local merchants, farmers and artisans.
This monthly Market will feature local produce, art and regional handcraft items and will be held along Main Street, next to the historic City Hall and Police Dept. In October, the Market will be open on:
FRIDAY, Oct. 31, 2008 (5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
SATURDAY, Nov. 1, 2008 (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
NOTE: NO tents are allowed to stay up overnight.
Stone Mountain Village Market will operate in coordination with the City of Stone Mountain to compliment activities planned by the Main Street Program and Community Affairs including the holiday tree lighting festivities.
The Market will integrate and encourage social interactions and opportunities for individuals and businesses to obtain cross exposures in market places that they may normally not have. The Market is professionally managed and maintained to create a "destination" in which both public and private opportunities for economic growth can be explored.
AFFPS strongly supports Main Street Stone Mountain and its retail merchants. A directory of businesses will be provided on this site, and a business map will be distributed at the Market. To help preserve and improve the historic Main Street Stone Mountain, join the Streetscape Sponsorship Program! For as little as $35 your name could become a part of Stone Mountain Village history. Online Reservation SPECIAL Rates
We no longer provide tents free of charge to vendors. When reserving your space online, you may choose "Space Only" or "Space and Tent." The price for space rental is $35.00 per day. The price for space rental with tent is 60.00 per day.
A limited supply of tents and weights are available for each reserved space, made available in order by dates of reservations made online.
PLEASE NOTE: online reservations close at 6:00 pm on Thursday before a weekend Market
(or sooner if the date is full).
WALK UPS
If you do not have a reservation, there is no guarantee that you will be provided with a tent. If you bring your own tent, the fee for space is $35.00 per day. If you rent a tent, the space plus tent fee is $80.00 per day.
